Lacime Landscaping's Award-Winning Design Transforms Traditional Landscape Logic

The design of Donde Cloud Valley is a testament to the power of inspiration. Lacime Landscaping drew inspiration from the noble image of deer, an animal full of reiki in human impression. The deer-themed installations serve as a welcoming gesture to visitors, becoming an integral part of the space's memory. The irregular cut surface combined with reflective mirror material gives these installations a unique charm, making them the finishing touch of the entire space.

What sets Donde Cloud Valley apart from other designs is its adherence to the integrated design of landscape and architecture. The building form and volume have been maximized, creating a space that is both a place for social interaction and a landscape in itself. This approach abandons the monotony of traditional landscape logic, offering a fresh perspective on landscape design.

The realization of this design involved the construction of a clear geometric volume, which, along with the surrounding buildings, forms an art gate. This structure provides a solid urban image for the surrounding residential areas, defining a new public art space. The designers explored different layouts on the basis of architecture, resulting in a building volume that appears differently from various angles, adding a sense of intrigue to the design.

Donde Cloud Valley is more than just a landscape; it is a space where people can embrace nature. It offers fresh air, sunshine, green trees, and blue skies, while also providing an omnipresent feeling of architecture and landscape. This design concept stems from the philosophy of architectural landscape integration, which allows for constant growth but cannot be replicated.

The project, completed in 2018 in Wuhan, China, is located in the High-tech Zone of East Lake District, a state-level high-tech zone approved by the government. Despite the challenges of designing a small landscape with high recognition that integrates into the whole site, Lacime Landscaping successfully created a landscape that enhances the possibility of light and shadow changes in the building.

Donde Cloud Valley's innovative approach to landscape design has not gone unnoticed. In 2020, it was awarded the Silver A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award, a prestigious accolade given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
